Rules for ATF are really pretty simple. Follow them or you will be out of the clan. With over 500 members, I do not have the time to baby-sit any member, so read the rules, and if there are any questions, do not hesitate to ask an officer! If you don't it may cost you your position in the clan...
ATF has a "One Clan Rule". This means that if you belong to another clan that the ATFhas a division for, you MUST quit that clan, or quit ATF. No exceptions!
All members are expected to show a good attitude while they are representing the clan. Good attitude also includes no fighting with other ATFmembers while in public, and also the use of racial comments will be strictly off limits. Failure to do so will result in immediate termination from the clan.
All members must check in at forum AT LEAST once every 30 days to see what is going on with the clan. You will not be allowed to wear ATFtags until you are seen in forum. Failure to do so will result in removal from the clan.
New members or Privates will be on a 30-day tryout period. If any Clan Officer does not think you are ATF material, it will be brought to the attention of your Division Leaders, with the potential that you may be out of the clan.
All recruits applying to the clan MUST sign up for Membership on the http://www.atfclan.com home page. This means completing all required fields in the application. You will be notified if your application is accepted. Upon completion of your recruiting period you must post a greeting in the New Members folder of the member's forum. You will not be accepted into the clan and be allowed to wear the ATFtag until you do this. Remember you are not in the clan till you earn a rank above recruit.
The Division Leaders will decide all promotions in rank. The Officers of the division will make all necessary changes to the roster. Your promotion is not effective until it is posted on the roster web page.
Each rank has a job to do in ATF. Hold up your end or be demoted or removed from the clan. For information on ranks, please refer to the Ranks page.
You can only be on one division's roster at a time. But for the members who play in more than one division (i.e. ATFBattlfield and ATFCall of Duty), your rank holds true in all ATFdivisions. Although you will not be allowed to recruit or have a say in the workings of a division other than your own, you should still have the respect of your rank. So a Sergeant in Tribes is also recognized as a Sergeant in whatever other game they may play that ATFhas a division for.
RANK. Many members work hard to move up in rank. So there will be a strict chain of command. Your superior officers will get the respect they deserve. An *S* is the way we salute and acknowledge respect any other member of the clan. We use this as a greeting and goodbye. We expect you to follow suit and use it as well.
Any insubordination to a superior officer will be grounds for demotion or dismissal from the clan. The affected officer will decide this.
You will be REQUIRED to wear your rank at all times. No exceptions, this rule will stand for all members regardless of which division you are in. Each division wears their rank a little different so please look at your division's rules to see how to wear it. An example of how to wear your rank in your callsign would be: ATF_Somebody ///
In order to transfer to another division, you MUST contact the generals of your current division as well as the generals of the division to which you are transferring. Once you have the go ahead from both sets of division leaders, your name will be moved and you will be transferred.
If you are removed from the clan for any infractions of these rules and recieve a "Dishonorable Discharge", you will never be allowed to return to the clan. If you quit on poor terms or get removed for lack of forum visits, you will be given a "General Discharge". If you leave on your own on good terms, you will be given an "Honorable Discharge". You may be allowed to return to the clan ONE TIME ONLY, upon approval of the officers in the clan. You will lose ALL rank, resulting in the returning rank of private. Original start date will stay intact.
These rules will be strictly enforced by the leaders of the clan. Any questions, please feel free to ask your superior officer. If he/she does not know, please email your question to one of the Generals.
